The focus for our mum and baby classes is on you… the mum but we also give you the space to bond with your baby.  Your tiny human demands your attention (constantly), so of course we include music, song, baby safe props and movement for them to keep everyone happy! Providing support when you need it most. You can feed or change your baby at any point during the class. Anything goes and there is no pressure. Motherhood is a learning journey so this class embraces it all! No previous yoga experience required.

Mum and Baby

We will focus on igniting your deep core muscles to aid your recovery. It can take your body up to two years to fully recover from growing and birthing your baby so this class works the deep core muscles to enable your body to heal from the inside out. And the word ‘yoga’ means ‘union’ so this is also a safe space to connect with other like-minded mums and build your own community of support – ‘it takes a village to raise a child.’ Mum and baby classes can be attended by all new mums with their babies (singular or plural all welcome!) from 6 weeks post vaginal birth providing you haven’t experienced any post-partum heavy bleeding or 12 weeks post caesarean birth for those mothers who underwent more significant intervention during birth.

If you would like a more focused class just on you and have a partner or loving friend/relative who can care for your baby for 60-75 minutes, why not book a private session in your home.

The class is available for post-natal mothers and their babies up until your little one is crawling.
